Stefan Cazzonelli, a key member of the Parameter team since 2015 and former Sales and Marketing Manager from 2017, has recently taken on the role of President and CEO. As Stefan reflects on his first six months in this new position, he is enthusiastic about sharing his experiences and the strategic insights driving the company’s future direction.
“Over the past six months, Parameter experienced some big transformations. We’ve implemented a Kanban inventory system, advanced our 5S initiatives, and sharpened our focus on efficiency, employee empowerment, and training. It’s inspiring to witness our team embrace these changes with such enthusiasm. We are also investing in a new control system which will allow us a lot more flexibility and connectivity. Finally, we are putting a huge focus on customer engagement to hear about developments in the industry, service and product enhancements, and general feedback so that we can add more value to our customers and partners.”
One of Parameter’s key achievements was the initiation of its LEAN Transformation process. Building on the foundation of the 5S methodology, the company implemented a Kanban inventory management system to minimize waste and enhance production efficiency. Additionally, a strategic focus on product standardization has empowered frontline staff to actively contribute to innovative product improvements. These initiatives underscore Parameter’s commitment to optimizing operations and better serving its customers.

Geoffrey Cook, Chief Operating Officer, says, “For the past couple of years, we’ve been laying the groundwork for the strategic implementation of LEAN methodology at Parameter. Over the last six months, we’ve refined this approach, integrating it across every department—from design and inventory management to production. Recently, LEAN practices have gained significant traction, thanks to widespread engagement from everyone in the company rather than just leadership. This team-driven approach not only enhances the effectiveness of our initiatives but also ensures their long-term sustainability and growth.”
As we move into the Q3 & Q4, Parameter Generation & Control is excited to unveil its latest innovation: an advanced controls platform designed to push the boundaries of technology. This state-of-the-art system includes a high-resolution 10” touchscreen for crystal-clear display and a microcontroller that offers extensive expansion capabilities. Key features of the platform will include detailed individual component monitoring, more precise climate control, and seamless integration with external systems, providing a comprehensive and flexible control solution. The platform has already started its initial rollout, with ongoing development aimed at incorporating further enhancements and refinements later in the year and in 2025 to ensure it meets the highest standards of performance and user experience.
