Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Black Mountain, NC

Job Summary: The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily production activities to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality control. This role requires a hands-on leader who can optimize production processes, manage a team, and enforce quality assurance measures to meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.

Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the CEO.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a production management or quality control role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing, and quality management systems (QMS).
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions to optimize production.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and production management software.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of production, including scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards and minimizing waste.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and address production defects or inconsistencies.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance production efficiency and consistency.
  • Lead, train, and motivate production staff to maximize performance and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure raw materials are available and production schedules are met.
  • Monitor equipment performance, coordinate maintenance schedules, and recommend upgrades as necessary.
  • Analyze production data, generate reports, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards.

Job Title: Procurement and Inventory Specialist

Location: Black Mountain, NC

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement and Inventory Specialist to manage procurement activities and oversee inventory management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating with vendors while ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained. This role requires excellent analytical skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a hands-on approach to managing inventory to support business operations.

Reporting: This position is reporting to the Production Manager

Qualifications:

  • Education: Preferred degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management.
  • Skills:
    Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
    Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    Familiarity with inventory management best practices
  • Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems such as SAP, Global Shop, or NetSuite.
  • Certification in procurement (e.g., CPP, CPSM) or inventory management (e.g., APICS).
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement

  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers..
  • Sourcing: Research, compare, and recommend suppliers, products, and services to meet company needs.
  • Purchase Orders: Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors for cost efficiency.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Supplier Performance: Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing.

Inventory Management

  • Stock Control: Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Forecasting: Analyze historical data and trends to forecast future inventory needs.
  • Inventory Reconciliation: : : Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Storage Optimization: Implement best practices for warehouse organization and stock management.
  • Inventory Reporting: Provide regular reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and stock value.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (such as sales, operations, and production) to ensure materials meet operational needs.

Work Environment:

  • This position is based in a warehouse environment with occasional travel to supplier locations as needed.
  • May require occasional lifting of materials or inventory during audits and stock checks.

Job Title: Service Coordinator Assistant

Location: Black Mountain, NC

Job Summary: The Service Coordinator Assistant will serve as a support position for the service manager, service coordinator and testing manager. This includes helping respond to service calls and emails, requests for quotes, managing purchase orders for parts and service, and helping with the procedures upon the field service technicians’ return from service calls.

Reporting: Reports to the Service Manager and Service Coordinator

Qualifications:

  • General computer skills and ability to use office equipment such as fax machine, copier, etc.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the English language
  • Exhibit a high level of organization and ability to work efficiently in a multi-functional environment.

Essential Functions:
Supports the Service Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Quote parts and service, receive POs, and help with sales orders.
  • Modify service orders as parts and hours are used.
  • Maintain service documentation – reports, STP, PM doc, parts lists, work orders, receipts, outgoing tech paperwork, etc..
  • Create new work orders and sales orders as service and parts are needed.
  • Intermediary for sensor exchanges and follows up with customers who are late on returning exchange sensors.
